Hawaii has always been a leader in entrepreneurial business, at one point 8th in the nation. One of Haleiwa’s young business owners grew up in his father’s and uncle’s art galleries and was working since age 14. Bryan Wyland had a vision, “I noticed the next generation of artists coming along. Art has changed, there is a lot of technology involved, digital and mapping tools and the like.”
Bryan started Wy’s Galleries four years ago and has been on a roll. There are about 30 artists represented in the gallery, it’s a beautiful space to walk into. “I designed it to be it’s own work of art with monkey pod doors and all” he explained. His business has won two awards- the first for fastest growing business and just recently the Small Business Administration’s “Small Business Administration Exporter of the Year” award.
Congratulations to the entire crew at Wy’s Galleries in Haleiwa!
