The North Shore Chamber of Commerce Business and Visitor Center located across from the Haleiwa Post Office resumed normal business hours after Covid-19 restrictions were reduced. Office hours are now 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. The Chamber office provides a variety of business services including printing, copying, scanning, faxing, laminating, and access to a computer and the internet. In the near future, it is hoped that a notary services will be available as well. Discounted fees are available to Chamber members. Local residents and visitors alike are stopping by to see the spruced-up office, get the latest information about businesses, and talk story. Roxana Jimenez, the office manager of the Chamber, resigned last month, and the Chamber is in the preliminary stages of recruiting a part-time Executive Director and an Office Administrator. The Chamber is interested in finding a North Shore resident to fill these positions. If you are interested, contact the Chamber office where full details are available. The Chamber is excited that many former volunteers are returning, but it still needs more to help with the Visitor Center services and special events.
