In a town known for its laid back surf culture, local businesses, and strong sense of community, longtime friends Amy Hodel and Sara Phelan are beginning exciting new chapters in Hale‘iwa Town. Each is bringing their own business within newly renovated spaces in
the heart of the North Shore, inspired by the flavors of the island, healthy lifestyles, and thoughtful living.

For Sara Phelan, Aloha Boba Co, is about creating thoughtfully crafted espresso and boba drinks made with only the finest ingredients.

Inspired by her college aged kids love for coffee and boba, opening a boba shop was more than simply bringing boba to Hale'iwa. She wanted to create a space where all ages could hang out and enjoy house-made drinks.

The result- real ingredients and aloha in every cup.

For Amy, Sea Haven, is the culmination of years of experience in the retail world and growing her brand of beach inspired, carefully
curated home decor, Amy is an expert in making spaces beautiful.

Crafted with intention, and inspired by nature, Sea Haven was born from a love of the ocean and timeless artistry of Bali. Each piece is hand-selected to bring the serenity, beauty and spirit of the sea into your everyday life.

At Sea Haven, her collections tell a story of craftsmanship, culture and a connection to the sea. As community members of the North Shore, let’s remember the importance of supporting our local businesses, restaurants, and farmers markets. Reconnect with long standing local businesses and take the time to discover and support new ones. Together, we can help preserve the North Shore’s unique character while strengthening our community’s economic well-being.
