Volunteering makes a perfect goal for the new year. The Hawaiian Islands Humpback National Marine Sanctuary is looking for volunteers for the 2018 Sanctuary Ocean Count.

Through Ocean Count, the public can learn about humpback whale population, distribution, and behavioral trends. The Ocean Count will be held on January 27, February 24, and March 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
