On Thanksgiving Day the North Shore community gathered at the Waialua Community Association
for the annual Thanksgiving Day Celebration.
This yearly event is sponsored by North Shore News, Waialua Community Association and
North Shore Food Bank. The guests and volunteers were treated to entertainment while they enjoyed
their meal and visited with their neighbors. “Every year I look forward to this Thanksgiving
event,” said one of the guests. Afterwards the North Shore Food Bank volunteers delivered
meals to those who could not attend the event. Everyone was very thankful.
It took a community of volunteers to put together this event from decorating the night before, preparing the food, serving the guests to cleaning up. Mahalo to all for a wonderful and successful
event.
