After a three-year hiatus, the “Battle of the Books” returned to the Turtle Bay Resort in late April. Nearly a hundred Ko‘olauloa area elementary school students from five schools competed in this super fun quiz-show-like contest. Teams of readers, coached by parents and teachers, read and studied a selection of thirty-eight books all year and trained vigorously to answer questions for the final competition.
